NYC man repeatedly stabs girlfriend’s ex outside Midtown youth shelter before disappearing with her
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: An NYC man stabbed his girlfriend's former beau multiple times in a Midtown clash according to the police. Two men were involved in a verbal dispute on W 41 St, Tenth Ave near Dyer Avenue, which in turn led to the brutal attack on March 9, Thursday at about 9.50 pm.
According to the Daily News, the dispute involved a guy and his ex-girlfriend, who was there along with her new love interest, a man police identified as "Ronnie". According to police, after the altercation between the two men became physical, Ronnie took out a knife and repeatedly stabbed the 21-year-old victim in the torso before running to a nearby shelter with his girlfriend on West 41 Street. The victim was immediately transported to Bellevue Hospital by EMS.

Ronnie faces assault charges
The man whose name was revealed to be Ronnie by the victim identified the stabber after police released a photograph of the suspect in connection with the incident, as per Daily News. The individual seems to be approximately 20 years old. The police released Ronnie's photo on Wednesday in the hopes that someone would recognize him. According to police, Ronnie is charged with assault. As per the reports, the victim is in stable condition and is expected to survive the attack.

Another assault in Midtown
This incident comes a few months after a 41-year-old NYC man was brutally stabbed eight times after involving in a verbal disagreement in Midtown, near Seventh Avenue and West 40 Street. According to police sources, a 41-year-old man was repeatedly stabbed and slashed on Saturday in Times Square as the city got ready for its yearly New Year's Eve celebration. According to the site, the man is said to be homeless and got into a brawl after arguing with another man. One of the men took out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times and slashed his chest many times.
The victim rushed into the railway station and hurriedly left, pleading for help at the approaching NYPD cruiser. According to the complaint, he spat blood on the cruiser while he waited for the ambulance to come. The victim was taken by EMS to Bellevue Hospital, where he is claimed to be in stable condition and expected to survive the attack.
