FBI offers $20K for information on mom-of-7 Maria del Carmen Lopez abducted from her Mexico home
SOUTHLAND, MEXICO: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is offering a $20,000 reward in order to find kidnapped American Maria del Carmen Lopez in Mexico. Almost after a month after her missing, the department has decided to offer money to whoever provides information leading to her ‘physical location.’ It is reported that Lopez is a mother of seven and most of her kids still reside in Southern California.
The 63-year-old regularly used to visit her extended family living all over the Southland. “We're doing everything we can still. We're not gonna give up on my mom. We're gonna find her, one way or another," said one of Lopez’s sons, Tony. The kids are desperate for their mother’s return, alleging her kidnapping was completely unprovoked. "There was never any sort of threats, there were never any enemies. Anything that would indicate that she was in any kind of trouble," Zonia, Lopez’s daughter told CBS Los Angeles.

'Someone did see'
Her cousin claimed to spot a group of men, at least five, outside her home moments before she went missing. Zonia continued, "Someone did see. There was a car that drove into the property. There was an exchange of words, they did hear her say she would not get into the car. Two individuals picked her up and another one came out of the van. They had their heads covered and they covered her mouth and that's when they took her." She concluded, "I don't think it was isolated, to end up at a town that's so remote, from the city, you'd really have to kind of be indicated — go there.
