LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Marvel has just released the new trailer for the sequel called 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3'. The sequel is the last chapter in James Gunn's beloved trilogy which marks his final project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3', Zoe Saldana plays Gamora, Dave Bautista plays Drax, Karen Gillan stars as Nebula, Pom Klementieff plays Mantis, and Vin Diesel provides the voice of Groot. The last chapter is written and directed by James Gunn.

The upcoming sequel is all set to release in theatres on May 5, 2023, and upon watching the first trailer of the movie, fans have already begun to prepare themselves for one last ride with the Guardians. Let's see what these fans had to say when they saw the first look.

What's happening in the trailer?

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, which is set years after the events of 'Avengers: Endgame', Chris Pratts' Peter Quill and his band of misfits battle Chukwudi Iwujis' High Evolutionary, a new enemy. The High Evolutionary is a character from the comic books who is driven by the desire to create the ideal being to the point where he kidnaps, mutilates, and splices together beings from all across the galaxy. The first trailer for the movie suggests that the antagonist is related to Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) as we'll be taken back in time to witness a young Rocket Raccoon.

'I am so scared and not ready for this!' 

Fans are preparing themselves to see the gang come back together for the last time. "I can't WAIT! Been dreaming of this for the last 5 years!" said one fan. Looks like the trailer has made these fans quite emotional. One fan said, "I am so scared and not ready for this!!! Oh my gosh it's gonna be epically beautiful and sad!!!"

Showing their emotions, one fan tweeted, "I can't believe this is the last time we will see this formation together. :(." One fan said, "I’m not ready for you guys to be gone, I’m %100 going to cry in this movie 😭😭😭."

Fans also started showing their appreciation for James Gunn for his creation. One fan tweeted, "Oh Mr Gunn, we don't deserve you." Another fan said, "Thank you for this. Years ago, I didn’t think this movie was gonna happen. And here it is! After a s**t day, I needed this!"
