Plot
Very little is known about the plot of the third game in the series. However, Nintendo said this about the game in its YouTube trailer description: “In the wake of chaos, enter the sun-scorched Splatlands and the new city, Splitsville, inhabited by battle-hardened Inklings and Octolings. New weapons, moves, and more await, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates in the future.”
Characters
The game is famous for its characters who are known as the Inklings and players will once again get a chance to control the characters in the upcoming game.
Inklings are a fictional species of squid-like humanoids and also the customizable characters that players take control of in the world of ‘Splatoon’. They live in a place known as Inkopolis. As the main protagonists, they won’t die, and instead, easily respawn after being “splatted".

The series also features Octolings. They are a group of fighters that are octopus equivalent to inkling and can morph into an octopus. Inklings and Octolings have the power to transform between humanoid and cephalopod forms at will.
Creators
Developed by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch, ‘Splatoon 3’ will be packed with action sequences and loads of new weapons. The clip released on YouTube shows a squid kid’s look being customized, a bow weapon, and a companion pet before they take a train to a new dense city locale.
Trailer
The trailer showed off the game’s impressive graphics and some new locations. It also provided glimpses of various familiar sights. New weapons and cosmetics were also shown on a single desert map. However, no other detail was provided at this time. The makers would want to keep all the good stuff as a secret to surprise the gamers.
