Nikki Haley bashed for questioning Vivek Ramaswamy's 'credibility' in heated Fox News interview with Sean Hannity
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: As the Israel-Hamas war continues, GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy made claims against former South Carolina governor and fellow GOP candidate Nikki Haley.
In an interview, Ramaswamy claimed, “She is somebody that, like many politicians, in a position to get wealthier from war,” according to the New York Post.
Now, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity has invited Haley and given her a chance to respond to this claim made by Ramaswamy, following which, he also interviewed Ramaswamy.
In a conversation with Hannity, Haley has made it clear that it doesn’t “bother her what he says,” as she focuses on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Nikki Haley responds to Vivek Ramaswamy’s claims
Fox News anchor Sean Hannity introduced former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley, “Now we turn our attention to the 2024 GOP primary, where Vivek Ramaswamy is actually accusing Nikki Haley of trying to get rich off the war in Israel. Here to respond is former ambassador and governor, Nikki Haley”
Hannity continued, “You know I have interviewed Vivek a number of times. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I don't think she is a child; I think she is somebody like many politicians in the position to get wealthier from war, what the hell does that mean?”
“He’s on later tonight, what would you like to tell him? What’s your response to him?” Hannity asked Haley.
Haley responded, “I mean, Sean, I quit responding to him. I don't trust him, I don't think he has any credibility, he throws these things, he says everybody is bought and paid for, with no evidence whatsoever.”
“It’s why I think he is sinking in the polls,” said Haley before expanding on Vivek Ramaswamy’s remarks on Israel, “And quite honestly, his comments on Israel disqualified him from me a long time ago. And so it doesn't bother me what he says.”
Internet backs Vivek Ramaswamy as they take a jab at Nikki Haley
In response to Sean Hannity and Nikki Haley’s interview on Fox News, where they briefly spoke about Vivek Ramaswamy’s claims against the former South Carolina governor, people were largely in favor of Ramaswamy.
One user wrote, “Vivek Ramaswamy POTUS 2024,” and another user wrote, “Scroll through the comments, and looks like people agree with me. Vivek 2024. Nikki, we don’t trust you, at all.”
“Nikki can put a fork in it and stop. Her war-mongering rear, for everything, esp this issue, isn't needed. I prefer Vivek in this issue over any other politician,” wrote one user, and another said, “Vivek is ahead of Nikki though in the polls...”
Haley continued to face backlash following this interview as one user commented, “Nikki Haley is ridiculous. I will NEVER vote for Nikki Haley. 😡” and another wrote, “I don't trust Nikki Haley... Vivek is 100%.”
