LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Unless you're a sneakerhead looking to flex or have recently seen a podiatrist, you probably don't think twice about the shoes you wear on a daily basis. However, if you own a pair of Nike sneakers and facing foot troubles, they are probably to be blamed.

One podiatrist, a foot doctor on TikTok advises people not to wear Nike sneakers on a regular basis in order to avoid future foot problems. For the vast majority of individuals who are on their feet every day, we normally just slip on some shoes, battle with our heels to straighten up the little counter part at the back of the shoe, and then head out the door.

Why foot doctor warns against wearing Nike sneakers?

One podiatrist, a foot doctor on TikTok suggests, Just (don't) Do It to Nike sneakers. The five-second video comes from Erie Foot and Ankle Centre, an account that features medical issues, amusing jokes, and, yes, shoe recommendations for people trying to improve the status of their feet. Not only do they claim to be the "#1 Croc haters" on TikTok, but they also warn against wearing Nike trainers. Here's what you need to know.

The video in question is short and to the point. An anonymous podiatrist is grooving to Fergie's "Clumsy," specifically the line "you got me trippin', stumblin', flippin', fumblin'," as a well-placed metaphorical jab. The TikTok is captioned, "Acting surprised when a patient tells me about their foot problems but they wear Nikes every day." It implies that they deal with these types of patients all the time and can easily detect the reason of their foot problems.

'I will never go back to Nike'

The viewers were divided after watching the video. "I will never go back to Nike after wearing Adidias Ultra boosts!" commented one user. Another user commented, "Nike is so narrow in the toes." Other individuals, on the other hand, stated that they have never had any problems with Nike. "I have no problem with Nikes," one person wrote. "40 years only been wearing Nike. We good," another user commented based on his experience.
