Katie Thurston's season might be done and dusted with, but looks like the drama that fans saw back then is far from over.

As 'The Bachelorette' nation gears up for Michelle Young's season, everyone has one pressing question: Who will be the next bachelor? And while many of Katie's men seem like stand-out choices, there is one who made quite a mark -- yes, we're talking about Greg Grippo.

Greg's exist of Katie's season was arguably the most dramatic one. Having made it to the hometowns segment, her meeting with his family went rather well, and Greg felt as though he could really envision a future for the two of them. After the hometown date, Greg told Katie how he truly felt, confessing that he was in fact in love with her.

Katie, who had decided not to tell any of the remaining contestants she loved up until the final rose, didn't know how to respond, stating that she liked the way he looked. For Greg, he felt as though he put his heart out, only for it to get destroyed because Katie was putting up a whole character for 'The Bachelorette'.

He was thoroughly upset and decided to leave the show, despite Katie begging him not to and apologizing multiple times. Greg's exit nearly had Katie considering leaving the show as well, claiming that she was absolutely done. But as we all know, she is ended up with Blake Moynes and the two are very much in love, as their Instagram suggests. 'The Bachelorette' tell-all episode was just as explosive, with Katie claiming that Greg was actually trying his hand at an acting career and his whole timid behavior was fake. Fans were on the fence as to whose side to pick as they saw Katie chew him out, while he kept his composure through the episode.

But it looks like now there is a chance for them to finally uncover who the real Greg Grippo is, seeing that he is rumored to be the next Bachelor. As per blogger Reality Steve, known among the 'The Bachelor' nation for his fairly accurate spoilers and information leaks, Greg might be on Season 26 of 'The Bachelor'
"(SPOILER): What I've been hearing the past 5 days or so regarding the next Bachelor are this…been told it's going to be Greg. Obviously it's never "official" until ABC announces it (whenever that may be), but at this point I would be very surprised if it's not him." tweeted Reality Steve.

As mentioned, there is no official confirmation just yet, but seeing that Reality Steve is rarely wrong and after Greg's dramatic time on the show, he might just be the most obvious choice. What do you think? Is Greg a good choice? Sound off in the comments below!

Until Greg Grippo graces our screens again, you can catch your other Season 17 favs on 'Bachelor in Paradise' on Mondays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
