New Zealand couple goes viral for posing NAKED to sell their home on listing platform
Creative minds often rule the world! Indeed, a New Zealand couple has grabbed the attention of many netizens online on a property selling website 'Trademe'. They found a unique way of attracting the customers for selling their A-framed house by flaunting their posteriors, naked, yet strategically covering themselves in order to avoid PG grade status. Even though the house hasn't sold yet, the photo has already received 11,000 views on the local listing site.
Lawrence Simpson, 34, and his wife, Clarissa Turner, 29 chose this unique approach out of necessity as they were reportedly going through some financial instabilities. Simpson had a good job prior to the pandemic, however lost the one which hampered his money flow into the family. The couple posing buck naked in listing photos of their petite A-frame cottage is located in the Southern Alps’ foothills to Queenstown. New Zealand news site Stuff reported that, as of earlier this week, it has received many views and appreciation for creativity.

Simpson also made sure that the captions for the photo meet their creative standards, “Lifestyle getaway, plus glacier views!” the couple advertised their home, for which they are currently asking $315,000 and which was first listed in September 2021. “Gets more sun than any other property in Franz Josef.” The listing further noted that the home is on 2 acres of land, has a greenhouse, rainwater tanks, solar lighting, a composting toilet, and a lofted bedroom. Meanwhile, nothing much is known about the jovial couple who dared to appear nude in such public advertising websites with a watering can and a book strategically placed to prevent the images from being listed as nude ones.
Simpson claims that the advertisement bore fruit, as many of the buyers have come from Christchurch residents seeking a vacation home, “I’ve had a decent amount of interest,” he added. He also stated that individuals are curious about whether the naked couple comes with the property; Well, they do not!
Even though the home has gone viral for having fun with photos that are often considered a chore to take, the story of the sale is actually quite unhappy. The duo was recently forced to relocate after Simpson’s work as a local guide dried up during the coronavirus pandemic. “It’s so sad,” Simpson said after Covid-19 stopped the influx of international tourists who had previously sought glacier tours through Franz Josef Glacier Guides, where he’d worked for eight years. “I’m hopeful it will come back.” Simpson added. Well, being optimistic, this creative couple will sooner or later receive a hefty deal on the listing website!
