It has been that sort of a week where taking the field was not looked at as an option by most players. A major chunk of games on August 26 and 27 across different sports were postponed following the Kenosha protests. But now, there is hope that action between the New York Mets and the New York Yankees will resume on August 28. It has been quite the schedule with doubleheaders and here's what you need to know about the upcoming game.

Time

Both sides will take the field at 4.05 pm ET on August 28.

Venue

The Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY will serve as the venue for the Mets-Yankees tussle.

Where to watch?

Fans can watch the game on SNY and YES. The live commentary can be listened to on WADO 1280, WFAN 660/ 101.9 FM and WCBS 880.

How to live stream?

Fans can catch the game on MLB.TV as well as the My Stream App. MLB.TV is still the most preferred app as it comes with a slashed price of $59.99 keeping in mind the shortened season. A complete subscription provides viewers with access to the full regular season, the playoffs and the World Series. Other option that viewers can look for is YouTube TV that gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, MLB Network and TBS at $64.99. Hulu and fuboTV have some similar options available.

Pre-match buzz

According to Winners and Whiners, Loaisiga has been outstanding whenever he was offered a chance as he's stifled his opponents to just four runs on 10 hits in 13 innings. He could be the one to do it for the Yankees when they step up to take on the Mets. While the Mets are yet to announce their starting pitcher, their season on-road has been quite impressive.

Who will win?

The better record for the Mets makes gives them a potential chance to stun the Yankees. With injury woes for the Yankees, the Mets will be looking to stay consistent and pocket this series by dominating throughout each play. We'll go with the Mets for this series.
