'They are making it a good home': New owners have decorated Watts family murder house ahead of Christmas
FREDERICK, COLORADO: Chris Watts, now 37, killed his wife Shanann and their two children at his Colorado home in August 2018. The infamous murder house was sold for $660,000 a few months ago and is now owned by the Millers, who are trying to restore a semblance of happiness in the property.
A Reddit user recently claimed, "I think they are making it a good home. I live here, and I go by it, and it's decorated for Christmas and it's nice to see love and light in it! Happy to have a family in it. I do think Mrs. Miller should keep herself off the internet and stop fueling the fire. She needs to just realize she won't make it better with a 13-part bullet point post trying to shut down the haters. But that's just my opinion."

Chris strangled his wife Shanann to death in their Frederick home early in the morning on August 13, 2018. She was 15 weeks pregnant with their son at the time. Later, he suffocated his two little children, Celeste, 3, and Bella, 4, before burying them all at his workplace.
In November 2018, Watts entered a guilty plea to nine criminal charges, including five counts of first-degree murder. The remains of his wife and children were discovered on the grounds of the oil and gas business where he was employed at the time.
Chris allegedly defaulted on the mortgage after his arrest and the home was eventually foreclosed. It remained vacant for a while as it struggled to fetch buyers after being put up for auction in 2019. Apparently, many aspects of the property remain the same as when the Watts lived there.
The Netflix documentary 'American Murder: The Family Next Door', which also includes inside-house footage, reveals several details about the horrifying killings. The Saratoga Trail home was allegedly listed under a "restricted address listing" in May 2022, as reported by The Sun.
