Shocking details were released in the case of a man facing child pornography charges after he was accused of shooting two girls in September 2016. Kody Austin Lott, 21, is still being held at the Wichita County Jail due to the over $1 million bond over charges of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a prohibited weapon and three counts of possession of child pornography. The bail was set at $10,000 for each of the three child porn charges.
The arrest warrant affidavits stated that Lott confessed in an interview with detectives to killing Lauren Landavazo and Makayla Smith. Investigators seized a cell phone from the young man's possession when he was arrested for the murders.
