'New Amsterdam' Season 4 Episode 7: Fans want Floyd to dump Lyn, 'you deserve better'
It has been a complicated season for Dr Floyd Reynolds (Jocko Sims) in 'New Amsterdam'. His love interest Lyn Malvo (Francie Turner) is actually the wife of the doctor, Claude Baptiste who happens to head Floyd and his team, and that made things worse for all three characters. The previous episode saw Lyn confess to her husband that she was seeing Floyd, and needless to say, that news wasn't taken too well by Baptiste who heckles his junior at every turn.
This had fans seething and they felt it was time that love story came to an end. "We knew this thruople was a going to be bad. Floyd you deserve better. Leave this mess alone. #NewAmsterdam" read one of the tweets. This was seconded by another who said, "Floyd needs to get back to his center, his values, his truth. And dump her. #NewAmsterdam". The opinions continued. "Omgz this is the stupidiest thing ever seeing two grown men act like kids at their job place...Baptiste is still pained its Floyd knacking the wife #NewAmsterdam Lyn u r sorry for caring for both...Girl bye."
