All K-drama fans will be happy to know that Netflix is back again with another heartwarming offering full of warm fuzzy feelings. 'Thirty-Nine' is an upcoming Korean drama that will revolve around a trio of best friends who are together from high school and are now going to step into their 40s.
Even the thought of spending most of life with best friends sounds really unique and fascinating to us. However, 'Thirty Nine' is a perfect blend of heartfelt emotions and romance. Through thick and thin, the trio of best friends stands by one another. On the cusp of turning 40, they experience life, love, and loss together. The Sang-ho Kim and Kim Sang-ho directed series promises quite an eventful and emotional journey. The upcoming series will be starring Jeon Mi-do as Jeong Chan Young, Kim Ji-hyeon as Jang Joo Hee, Son Ye-jin, Sohee, Lee Tae-Hwan as Park Hyun Joon, Woo-jin Yeon, and Moo-Saeng Lee. Jeon Mi-do
Mi-do is a South Korean singer, theatre and television actress born on August 4, 1982. She attended Myongji College Department of Theatre and Film for her bachelor's degree in Theatre and Film. Mi-do started her acting career after the musical 'Mr. Mouse' debuted in the year 2006. She made her television debut in the year 2018 with the series 'Mother' where she had a minor role. After that, she made her big-screen debut with the fantasy film 'Metamorphosis.' Mi-do appeared in 'Hospital Playlist' with her first lead role in a television series and also marked her appearance in the television show titled 'Wise Mountain Village Life.' While talking about her personal life, Mi-do married her non-celebrity boyfriend in the year 2013, whom she dated for 6 months. In the year 2020, she won Asia Artist Awards in the category of Best Acting Award. In the same year, she won Asia Contents Awards, Asia Model Festival for Newcomer Actress and Rising Star awards respectively.
'Thirty Nine' will be airing on February 16, 2022 on Netflix.
