The awaited historical period romantic drama film ‘Persuasion’ is releasing globally by July 15, 2022 on Netflix at 3:01 am EST.
What is ‘Persuasion’ all about?
The film which is adapted from the iconic author Jane Austen’s sixth book that got published post her death back in 1817, tells the story about Anne Elliot who lives with her snobby and insufferable family that is on the verge of bankruptcy. Anne is an eccentric modern-day woman who has to make a choice between letting go of the past or listening to her heart that is all about giving second chances when Frederick Wentworth (Cosmo Jarvis) the one that she let go comes back into her life out of the blue.
The official synopsis reads, “Living with her snobby family on the brink of bankruptcy, Anne Elliot is an unconforming woman with modern sensibilities. When Frederick Wentworth (Jarvis) — the dashing one she let get away — crashes back into her life, Anne must choose between putting the past behind her or listening to her heart when it comes to second chances”.

She is going to surprise fans with her upcoming role of Anne Elliot in the historical period drama film ‘Persuasion’.
