If you're a 'Hospital Playlist' fan that's been waiting at the edge of your seat eagerly for Season 2, the wait has finally ended -- get ready to come face to face with the doctors we've come to know and love! With Season 2 of the K-drama finally here, fans can expect a whole lot of love, laughs and dilemmas.

Cast 

Jo Jung-suk

Jo Jung-suk will reprise his role as Lee Ik-jun, an assistant professor of general surgery. An actor, Jo Jung-suk was enrolled into the theater department of Seoul Institute of the Arts. However, after his father died, he became the sole breadwinner of his family. He was granted an exemption from military service due to family circumstances and quit school before graduating.

During this time, he began acting in theater in order to make money. During the first nine years of his career, he worked in 25 musicals. Some of his works include 'Spring Awakening', 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch', and 'The Harmonium in My Memory'. He's acted in multiple TV series, such as 'The King 2 Hearts', 'You're the Best, Lee Soon-shin', 'Oh My Ghost' and 'Don't Dare to Dream', as well as films like 'The Face Reader', 'My Love, My Bride', 'My Annoying Brother' and 'Exit'.



 

Yoo Yeon-seok

Yoo Yeon-seok will reprise his role as Ahn Jeong-won, an assistant professor of pediatric surgery. He moved to Seoul with his brother, in order to pursue an acting career. Seeing that he bared resemblance to actor Yoo Ji-tae, he made his movie debut as Yoo Ji-tae's younger counterpart in the acclaimed 2003 film Oldboy. He graduated from Sejong University with a degree in Film Arts.

His movie work includes 'Re-encounter', 'Architecture 101', 'A Werewolf Boy', and 'Whistle Blower' He has also acted in television series, such as 'Reply 1994', 'Warm and Cozy', 'Dr. Romantic' and 'Mr. Sunshine'.



 

Jung Kyung-ho

Jung Kyung-ho will reprise his role as Kim Jun-wan, an associate professor of cardiothoracic surgery. Jung Kyung-ho is the son of Jung Eul-young, veteran TV director. His father was initially against his son's dream to become an actor, but Jung defied him and followed his passion.

The two were not on talking terms for three years, until reconciling eventually. Jung studied at Chung-Ang University. He is known for his roles in 'I'm Sorry, I Love You' and 'Time Between Dog and Wolf' . His other works include 'Smile, You' 'One More Happy Ending', 'Missing Nine', 'Prison Playbook', 'Life on Mars' and 'When the Devil Calls Your Name'.



 

Kim Dae-myung

Kim Dae-myung  will reprise his role as Yang Seok-hyeong, an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynaecology. Kim Dae-myung is an actor, who began his career in theater. His most notable work is television series 'Misaeng: Incomplete Life'.



 

Jeon Mi-do

Jeon Mi-do will reprise her role as Chae Song-hwa, an associate professor of neurosurgery. Jeon Mi-do made her acting debut in the musical 'Mr. Mouse' and later went on to work in TV series and movies, such as 'Mother' and fantasy film 'Metamorphosis'. Although she initial auditioned for the role of a patient on 'Hospital Playlist', she was cast in the lead role.



 

'Hospital Playlist' Season 2 premieres on Netflix on June 17, 2021.
