NCT Haechan 'Good Person': First solo OST leaves fans saying 'proud is an understatement'

Haechan will be singing the OST for the K-drama 'Friends Seoyeon University Class of 22'

Haechan becomes the next NCT member to get his first solo music project. Previously, we had Mark making his solo debut under NCT Lab while Taeil and Doyoung released solo OSTs (original soundtracks) for K-dramas like ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ and ‘Soundtrack #1’. However, ‘Good Person’ will be Haechan’s first solo OST ever.

As part of two fixed sub-units, NCT 127 and NCT Dream, Haechan is one of the busiest members. However, apart from a collab with Doyoung for Ryan Jhun’s ‘Maxis’ project and a ‘maknae’ line collab with other SM artists for ‘2021 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU Express’, Haechan hasn’t had many projects outside of NCT. Well, fans are celebrating as he has been roped in to lend his voice for the ‘Good Person’ OST of the new K-drama ‘Friends Seoyeon University Class of 22’.

Haechan’s first solo OST

The drama ‘Friends Seoyeon University Class of 22’ is an upcoming show by Playlist production set to premiere on March 4. With ‘Good Person’ being an original song performed by the K-pop band Toy in 2001, Haechan will be singing the remake version which hopes to convey the affection of the lead who is involved in one-sided unrequited love. Production has shown high expectation as Haechan puts his own color in the original song made by Yoo Hee-yeol. The NCT star’s first OST will be released on March 6 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET) on all major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, MelOn and more.

'Whole world is going to tune in'

Happy fans trended #HaechanFirstOST as they made tweets like, “The way Haechan said "first" makes me cry 😭 We got you, FullSun! We'll stream hard and we'll place it on the charts! Congrats!” Another NCTzen posted, “This is really overwhelming, i'm very very proud of u lee haechan😭😭 HAECHAN OST COMING SOON.” One fan commented, “Haechan trending here and there. I hope he knows how much sfs been waiting for his SOLO projects.” Another NCTzen added, “Lee haechan you are so famous THE WHOLE WORLD IS GOING TO TUNE IN.”
