When will 'NCIS' Season 18 Episode 2 air? Here's what to expect from Gibbs' initiation to the job

The brand new season premiere of 'NCIS' Season 18, titled 'Sturgeon Season' just aired, and while we're still awaiting confirmation on whether the status of Eleanor Bishop and Nick Torres' relationship, that was hardly the centerpiece of tonight's episode. Not only were there confusing flashbacks from Season 17, with the show still in the year 2019, but there were also old-timey cameos such as Tobias Fornell, who returned with prospects of busting an opioid ring. But before any of that could be accomplished, there was also the prospect of Jethro Gibbs reuniting with another long lost consort of his – called Ducky. This second Gibbs reunion comes all the way in Episode 2, which will also mark the 400th episode of the show. Wondering where you can get all the details on the same? We've got you covered!
Arriving shortly after a week from the season premiere of the current Season 18 Episode 2 of 'NCIS' titled 'Everything Starts Somewhere', the episode will air next Tuesday, November 24, at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS. According to the official synopsis of the episode, "Flashbacks reveal the murder case that first introduced young Gibbs to NCIS and to Ducky." The episode will follow a big Gibbs reunion and will offer plenty to look forward to although the one with Fornell ended quite ambiguously.
The end of the episode saw Fornell and Gibbs find the dead body of the errand boy Josh whom they were planning on using to bust the 'head of the snake' of the opioid crisis that has plagued Fornell's daughter Emily over the years on the show. But even though the errand boy ends up dead, Fornell reaches into the dead body's pockets and takes a key out. He then tells Gibbs not to worry about it and just give i'm two weeks' time and that can never mean anything bright and sunny by 'NCIS' standards but we are just going to have to wait that one out to see just how ugly things turn out to be.
In the next Episode, when Gibbs reunites with Ducky, we are also promised a glimpse into the team lead's past where it is finally shown how Gibbs enters the world of crime and justice, that too this specific department. Unfortunately, there's no update on the budding romance between Gibbs and forensic expert onboard, Jack Sloane. The first episode saw Sloane right at the end of the commotion it entailed, and while she offered Gibbs a drink, he turned it down. Does this initiate the two already spacing out their growing romance? We know Sloane will exit the arc midway this season with Maria Bello quitting the show after three and a half successful years of being a fan-favorite character. But with Ducky's reunion on the cards, it doesn't look like we are getting much on that relationship front in Episode 2 either.
