This article contains spoilers on season 11, episode 8.

In tonight's episode 8 of 'NCIS Los Angeles' season 11, we see our team of agents getting dragged into yet another serviceman's case. "After a Navy lieutenant disappears from the scene of a car accident, the NCIS team processes the crime scene and discovers his laptop is missing along with recently accessed confidential information for retired Navy SEALs," describes the official synopsis of the episode. But fans have taken notice that despite all the high octane serves and blows from agents Sam, Callen, and Deeks, it is the women of NCIS who are the real powerhouse behind all things brainy and badassery.

It is one of those episodes, where Nell's brilliant skills shine through without actually participating in the action on the field. When Lieutenant Paul Tatum fails to make his destination at a VA meeting, Nell catches the team's attention, by putting them in charge of figuring out whether Tatum was kidnapped. Nell just knew this wasn't a case of Tatum's fluctuating blood sugar levels, as they found out later that Tatum had actually been kidnapped - a discovery made by sweet little Nell first, and the rest of the team thereafter.

Later when they zeroed in on the suspect - a jihadist by the name Zachary Vale, it was again Nell who cracks all that information. When  she followed his digital footprint, she was able to find out that his prime targets were members of the Special Forces and his plan had been to avenge Osama Bin-Laden’s death.

Meanwhile, Kensi was out there helping Deeks solve the case of tracking down the person who had kidnapped Tatum while keeping Deeks grounded to his new challenge of crossing 20 days without complaining. Taking a note of how it is mostly Kensi who keeps Deeks' wandering mind on track, fans took to Twitter to share how the women on the team are way more efficient than their male counterparts. "Michelle (God bless her soul), Kensi, Joelle, and Nell are all women who wear the pants in the relationship. They all seem more badass than their men. Good writing," shared a fan on Twitter. Another one noted: "This is how good this show ('NCIS: Los Angeles') is you blink its over." Noting that power packed line Kensi delivered this episode, another fan shared: "'This is why you don't fight girls!' - Kensi Gosh I just love her fight scenes!"

'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11 airs on Sundays at 9fpm only on CBS.
