'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 Episode 7: Who plays Fiona? Meet Sasha Diamond, Sebastian Lund's new love interest

On the latest episode of 'NCIS: New Orleans', lady luck might have finally answered Sebastian Lund's calls as he bonds with someone who is not a colleague. Who would have thought?
The official synopsis for Season 7 Episode 7 reads: "When a Navy therapist with a high level of security clearance is murdered, Pride and the team discover that she was working around the system to get justice for victims of sexual assault. Also, Carter's mother confronts him when he refuses to talk to the FBI for a background check on her behalf, and Sebastian starts to form a bond with a key witness who was hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic."
The key witness from the synopsis happens to be a woman called Fiona whom Sebastian and Tammy Gregorio find sleeping in her car in the middle of nowhere. Soon Fiona tells them the reason — her daughter Marie was taken away by child protective services after the singer-songwriter lost her source of income due to the pandemic and thus became homeless.
Eventually, they had to resort to sleeping in the car and that is a strict no-no. Fiona landed in a serious predicament where Marie gets taken away and the mother is helpless in her quest to get her daughter back.
Something about it really touches Sebastian and he forgets all official work to occupy himself in finding a house and a job for Fiona. Dwayne Pride agrees to give her a job at his bar, but he still has to call up a million places and look for accommodation for the young mother and her three-year-old child without an active father present in their lives.
Everybody is quite taken with what Sebastian claims is just him "trying to do the right thing here". And soon enough, Loretta Wade also agrees to let Fiona and Marie live in her guest house.
Not only that, but he also gets Rita to fight her case and Fiona gets her daughter back. For those wondering who plays the character, Sasha Diamond joins the cast as most likely a recurring character we hope for now. The actress is popular for her television credits that brag of shows like 'Blindspot', 'Trick', 'Trick', 'The Romanoffs' and 'Tommy'. Based in New York City, the actress also dabbles in improv, music and movement.
'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 will air on Sundays at 10 pm from February 14, on CBS.
