It's Pride's big night on 'NCIS: New Orleans' because he has finally mustered up the courage to get a giant rock for his girlfriend Rita. The couple, who were finally reunited at the beginning of the ongoing Season 7, is about to take things to the next level, but there's a small hurdle they might have to overcome first. Rita has been offered what looks like a dream job, but it's in Kansas City. With her excitement about taking up the offer, the inevitable question was would Pride propose to her or let her fly towards her dreams?

The answer came right at the end of the episode when Rita told him she's not done with New Orleans and their relationship isn't just her, but two people both of whose opinions matter. Pride not only asked her to stay but proposed to her too, even though that wasn't what helped make up her mind to not leave. And for those wondering, there are some hints about when they are getting married too.

‘NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 Episode 10 Spoilers: Who shot the Petty Officer and why? The team is at a loss

In the most recent Episode 10 of Season 7, titled 'Homeward Bound', a new case springs up surrounding the struggling issues of homelessness in New Orleans. A cold ruthless serial killer is on the loose and while Pride has to make the final call to take a fatal shot, Rita goes around speaking to people struggling with the problem of homelessness and her compassionate heart breaks for them – almost as if giving her the purpose to stay back. But that's not the only reason why she stays back; when Pride blurts out he wants her to stay, Rita tells him she's already turned down the job because their life together has made her the happiest she's ever been - much like it has for Pride.

The NCIS team lead immediately reaches for his drawers to pull out the engagement ring and propose but turns out Rita already knows about it and the answer is of course a yes. There's no fancy going down on one knee or elaborate proclamation of love with a teary-eyed cheesy speech. Pride and Rita's proposal is exactly how the couple have been on the show - adorable in love and fiercely realistic. And that's perhaps why the show might pull out the cliches and cheesefest during the series finale, centering it around their wedding. It would be a nice send-off after CBS randomly announced all of a sudden that this was going to be the final season of the show. With fans heartbroken and furious about this decision, what better way to sign off than give them the big wedding they've always wanted to see?

'NCIS: New Orleans' Season 7 airs on Sundays at 10 PM only on CBS.
