According to the official synopsis provided by the network, the episode 'Knock Down' will see “NCIS assist the DOJ in the investigation of an arsonist who targets an FBI safe house that’s protecting a political activist seeking asylum. Also, Eric deals with the aftermath of Nell leaving the team.” So there's action-packed, possibly high-octane, drama along with heavy emotional content, at least from Eric's side now that Nell has decided she wants to pursue something other than being an NCIS agent. Hetty sanctioned her vacation and per Kensi's advice Nell is most likely to take some much-needed time off to deal with the pressures of the job.
