NBA Clippers' star Lou Williams labeled an 'irresponsible moron' after viral strip club photo with Jack Harlow
Sometimes, you got to excercise a little caution about what you share on social media, especially if you're a celebrity. Los Angeles Clippers star, Lou Williams, drew a lot of flak on social media after going to the Magic City strip club in Atlanta with breakout Louisville rapper, Jack Harlow. Williams had initially left the NBA bubble in Orlando to attend a funeral in Atlanta. Harlow, meanwhile, shared a photo with Williams on his Instagram story with the caption "A location you would never guess."
On July 24, Harlow clarified that the photo was an old one. However, the two were seen with masks in the photo, and William had apparently bought the mask in Orlando. According to ESPN, Williams told NBA security that he did go to the club for a "short time". The NBA is currently investigating his trip there and will evaluate his quarantining process.
Williams said on Twitter that he only went to Magic City to get dinner. He said, "Ask any of my teammates what's my favorite restaurant in Atlanta is. Ain't nobody partying. Chill out lol. #Maskon #inandout," in a tweet on July 25. It remains to be seen if Williams will be quarantined for long and if he faces any repercussions.
Many fans were amused, but others felt that Williams now posed a risk to his teammates. "It does not take away from the fact he's a f**king moron for going to a strip club. If Jack Harlow's dumb ass had not posted the pic I can guarantee you this idiot would not have told the team. Potentially puts the entire team and bubble at risk to see some a**," one tweeted.
