NBA 2020: Danny Green botches 3-pointer against Oklahoma, miffed fans say it's time to 'change Lakers line-up'
It was a forgettable outing for Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, August 5, after they got thumped 86-105 by Oklahoma City Thunder. Their offense came under intense scrutiny and bang in the middle of it was Danny Green, the Lakers Shooting Guard who missed a 3-pointer despite LeBron James setting it up perfectly for him. Lakers fans took to social media to express their sheer displeasure as they saw Green miss the shot and eventually tagged him as one of the reasons for the loss.
The trolls started too. "It's time to resume the Danny Green slander and start a JaVale McGee one as well," one of the fans wrote.

"Danny Green missing all these 3s just to get them out of the way before playoffs hit. he’s going supernova game 6 play come playoff time. he playing 4d chess. keep up," mocked one of the fans.

Some fans felt it was quite absurd how someone as talented as Green would botch the beauty that James fed him. One of the fans admitted to having a terrible game in his tweet, "No bandwagon, but sloppy game on our end I'll admit. 3s cost us the game (especially Danny Green) but gg to you guys beating us for the first time. Gl in the playoffs."

Nostalgia kicked for one of the fans who called the new players "entitled sh*ts" and you guessed it right, he was watching 'The Last Dance'. "Watching the NETFLIX Michael Jordan -Bulls documentary reminds me how much tougher and better players were from that era. I can't watch these entitled sh*ts today...and I don't ..." the fan said.
For a bunch of fans, it was time the Lakers changed their starting line-up even if it meant benching Green. "Bro the #lakers gotta switch that starting line up.. up they have no chemistry at all it should LeBron and AD and whoever not named Danny green and kcp cause bruh," a fan tweet read.

Those who caught the game also saw it was a bit of a struggle for James as Chris Paul nailed it for OKC with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists to take the team home to a convincing win. The Lakers will be keen to shrug off the loss as they take on the Houston Rockets next on Thursday, August 6.
