Ex-Navy SEAL who reportedly killed Osama bin Laden roasted for saying 'I’m not a p****' over not wearing mask

Robert O'Neill subsequently deleted the offending tweet -- although he claimed that his wife deleted it -- but not before it was screenshotted and shared with heavy criticism

On Wednesday, August 19, Osama Bin Laden was trending on Twitter, even though it was neither the death nor the birth anniversary of the world-renowned terrorist. In fact, the reason why he was being talked about had less to do with the terrorist and more to do with the ones responsible for this death.

Robert O’Neill, the former Navy SEAL who claims to have shot and killed Bin Laden, on Wednesday, bragged about not wearing a mask on a flight. “I’m not a p****,” he tweeted alongside a photo of him smiling in his seat. Another person clearly in the shot is an elderly man wearing a mask and United States Marine Corps hat.

O’Neill, whose Twitter bio reads “I shot a famous guy. Thrice,” deleted the photo soon afterward. But in a series of Tweets, he said more. First, he wrote, “I didn’t delete my tweet. My wife did.”

Following that, he wrote, “I’m not afraid of the mob. Come get some.”

He then said, “I shook thousands of hands and gave thousands of hugs this week. I flew on some planes. I’ll be alive next week.”

Finally, he responded to Alyssa Milano, who said, “You do realize you may be a-symptomatic and give the virus to other people that could potentially kill them. I think that makes you a sociopath. Besides, p*****s are actually so strong that we can deliver human beings out of them. Please, I’m begging you, wear a damn mask.” O’Neill wrote, “I do wear a mask, @Alyssa_Milano ... this attempt at a joke did NOT go over well…”

Milano wasn’t the only one who criticized O’Neill. A Twitter user, sharing a screenshot of his deleted mask tweet, wrote, “It's so funny that this guy killed Osama bin Laden. He could easily just coast off that respect for the rest of his life and let everyone believe he's cool. Instead, he's posting s*** like this, being too mad at Cardi B songs and getting made fun of by teens for his weird Irish face.”

Another said, “Ex-Navy SEAL credited with killing Osama bin Laden brags about not wearing a mask. He does so by saying he's not a p****. I challenge him to go call his USMC cabin mate a p****. I hope the airline threatened to remove his p**** a** from the plane.”

Another Twitter user noted, “The fact that you have to brag about shooting Osama bin Laden only shows a sign of insecurity and self-doubt. This shows you think very little of yourself and really haven't accomplished much in your life. Your post shows the man in the USMC hat is smarter then you.”

While another observed, “If you want to understand the depth of certain men’s fear, observe that even killing Osama bin Laden is not enough to make them feel like men. They have to endanger other people and themselves simply to feel whole.”

A Twitter user said, “SEAL who claims he personally killed Bin Laden just posted this. I'm betting Mr. ‘Not a p****’ had his mask on until the stewardess passed, otherwise his ass would be off the plane. Also, note the guy behind him in the Marine hat. ‘I'm always an a**hole.’ would be a better tweet.”
