The experts matched Myrla and Gil, even though they want entirely different things

The couples of 'Married at First Sight' trust the experts on the show, seeing that they are the ones who pick out their future spouse. But this blind trust comes with a price.

For the participants of Season 13, the couples seemed to have gotten off to a strong start; Johnny and Bao, although they know each other, believe their meeting was fate. Zack and Michaela, too, were smitten with each other right off the bat. But, now, as the rest of the couples get ready to tie the knot, Myrla and Gil are one couple that seems to be heading towards disaster.

Myrla has not been shy about how she lives her life. She enjoys the finer things and is not willing to settle or change her way of living. While dress shopping, she made it clear to her friends again that she is not going to change anything about herself throughout her wedding.

On the other hand, Gil mentioned that if his wife is the type who enjoys traveling and other expensive activities, it was definitely something he'd consider, provided they could do it smartly and work within budgets. For him, it was all about priorities. Pastor Cal Roberson mentioned that he believes the two can balance each other out. However, their lifestyles say otherwise. 

Fans, who are currently team Gil seem to be worried for the pair. "Buddy with the bald head in for a rude awakening lol #MAFS" tweeted a fan. "Gil is bring setup for a trap. I still don't have a good feeling about Myrla. #mafs #MarriedAtFirstSight" added another. "Ugh Myrla. I hope Gil has the patience to deal with her #mafs" commented another.

Fans also believed that the experts had definitely messed up when it came to Myrla and Gil, seeing that they were on different notes on how they live life. "Pastor Cal, now you full of with your Gil and Myrla prediction #mafs #MarriedAtFirstSight" tweeted a fan. "The experts set up Gil and Myrla for disaster and I hate that for them #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" added another. "So the experts matched Gil and Myrla deliberately to clearly fail. Nothing about these 2 make any sense. #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" agreed a fan. "Gil and Myrla are a terrible match I wish they'd stop saying they'd balance each other out #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" tweeted a fan.
