On Wednesday night's (September 23) episode of 'Ghosted: Love Gone Missing', hosts Rachel Lindsay and Travis Mills were investigating the ghosting of Michael by his fiance Francisco. Both of them were engaged to each other, a move to Japan was on the cards and everything was going perfectly fine until the day Francisco decided to disappear and stayed that way for a year. Michael could think of no reason why his fiance would do such a thing and not talk to him before taking a step as harsh as he did. He was seeking answers but he couldn't get hold of Francisco and this is when he decided to seek help from Rachel and Travis.

The hosts figured that the only way to know more about the details of the relationship is by getting in touch with the best friends of both the men. They were able to establish contact with Michael's friend Tyler who while speaking about his friend said that he was very loyal and one in a million. He also confirmed that Michael didn't date anyone apart from Francisco, with whom he was super comfortable, but he also added that their relationship was moving too fast. Tyler also confirmed that his friend had been single ever since he was ghosted.

Rachel and Travis also spoke to Francisco's friend Mau. She believed that Michael's relationship with Francisco was not moving too fast but they just fell apart. She also confirmed that Francisco had been dating other people after walking away from Michael.

The hosts had spoken to everyone that they thought could help them find out what really happened and the last person whose account they needed to hear was Francisco. They finally got a response from the latter and he was ready to speak about the reason why he ghosted Michael. In fact, he said that Michael deserved to know why he was ghosted.

Turns out it was a prenup that he found on Michael's email, the ones with the clauses that stated that the person making more money would get to keep the children and that their's would be an open marriage. All this hadn't settled gone down well with Francisco and he walked away. However, that was not the true reason why he did what he did. On Rachel's insistence, he decided to tell Michael the truth behind his ghosting. He said that he was still hung up on his ex. All his feelings for his former partner came back to Francisco in waves as his ex reached out to him. He didn't want Michael around and certainly didn't want to get tied down, not while he was dealing with his emotions and that's why he chose to walk away.

At the end of the episode, Rachel asked Francisco if he's over his ex, to which he replied in the positive. It was now time for Michael and him to choose if they'd make up or ghost each other. Francisco wanted to make up and was ready to move forward with him but Michael was done with his former fiance. He wanted nothing to do with him, he had the closure he was seeking and believed that spending another minute on the relationship would be a waste.

Rachel and Travis reached out to him after three months to check how he'd been doing and Michael said he was staying in his lane, drinking his water and staying unbothered. A closure on his relationship with Francisco had worked wonders for Michael's confidence and overall happiness, and it showed!

'Ghosted: Love Gone Missing,' airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on MTV.
