NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES: Christopher Tyson aka ChrisTyson is one of the members of MrBeast's YouTube channel and his best friend too. Tyson celebrates Pride Month by sharing a new selfie after undergoing hormone replacement therapy. 

As an influential figure with millions of followers, Tyson recognizes the power of his platform and has chosen to utilize it to raise awareness and express support. He has over 2.6 million followers on Instagram and 309K followers on Twitter. By openly sharing his experience with HRT, he aims to destigmatize the conversation surrounding gender identity and encourage inclusivity. 

‘Happy Pride Month!!!’

The latest post of Tyson kicked off pride month with a new transformation photo and states, “Happy Pride Month!!! (Since it’s June you are legally required to like this selfie).” He has been sharing frequent updates about his masculine appearance. As the various social media platforms have started taking his transformation to make headlines he shared a tweet in the month of April, “Informed consent HRT saved my and many others' lives. The hurdles [gender nonconforming] people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me. Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies."



 



 

‘You are beautiful’

One Twitter user said, “It is what it is. If this makes you happy then good for you. Why be miserable in a body you don’t like. Who am I to Judge”. Another said, “Honestly, just leave him alone at this point. Hes gone through so much, I know you miss the old him and everyone does, but just support him”. ‘Abandoned my child’ 

As people started buzzing about his transformation, he quoted a tweet in April, “I won’t let people talk about how I ‘abandoned my child’. He is the only priority in my life. I have his love and support and that is all I need. I’m doing this for him. If that confuses you, educate yourself. It that makes you mad. Leave. Simple." He also posted another tweet, "If I didn’t have this little nugget I’d never have gotten this far. He’s taught me so much about myself in such a short time. I can’t wait to learn through life together." These posts show the clear mind of his decision and also his affection towards his child.
