Mom-of-two on trial after she RAN OVER husband and mistress then proceeded to pummell her screaming 'fat moll'
BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA: A mother-of-two is facing trial after she ran over her husband and his lover shortly after discovering they were having an affair.
Christie Lee Kennedy allegedly got into her BMW shortly after discovering that her husband David Larkin was having an affair and ran over them at their meeting place in Brisbane. She then got out of her car, grabbed the mistress by the hair, and pummelled her in the head while yelling "fat moll," the Queensland District Court heard. 37-year-old Kennedy had been married to Larkin for nine years and had been with him for over a decade when her "world came crashing down" in March 2021. Defense lawyer Penny White told a jury how she "found herself in a position no one would want to be in. She found out that her husband ... was having an affair with another woman." She added, "The events that followed from that realization... all happened in a matter of seconds after she found out."

Crown prosecutor Jennifer O'Brien noted how Larkin became close to Zowie Noring in January 2021, bonding over shared traumatic experiences after Larkin's young boy nearly drowned days before Christmas in 2020. A week before the incident, Kennedy set up the Find My Phone app on her husband's phone. On March 19, 2021, Noring and Larkin decided to meet at a park in Wavell Heights. "Mr Larkin said he wanted to see Ms Noring because he needed to chat to someone that day," O´Brien told the jury. Kennedy tracked her husband down using the phone locator app and discovered the lovers walking by the side of the road at the park in north Brisbane.
The court heard how Kennedy followed them on the wrong side of the road "for some time" before hitting the gas and driving into the duo. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras at a nearby home. "The footage will show that they were lined up and hit and rolled off the bonnet," O'Brien told the court. "There was no attempt to swerve away or correct course to stop her from hitting (the pair). Put simply ... the defendant drove her car, a large and powerful object ... and ran them over."
Recounting his experience, Larkin said he had been speaking to Noring for a couple of minutes before he heard a car "accelerating erratically" and soon realized it was his wife's BMW, identifying the personalized plates. He said the next thing he remembered was "coming on to the roadway" and then saw his wife grabbing the woman by the hair and repeatedly punching her while calling her a "slut." Larkin sustained head cuts, arm and leg bruising and swelling, rib pain, and a dislocated finger, while Noring suffered head cuts, abdominal pain, and arm abrasions, aside from thigh and ankle injuries.

Larking told the court that he met Noring years ago via mutual friends but had become close in the weeks leading up to the incidents after bonding over "traumatic events." He said his marriage was "fairly rocky" and initially denied sleeping with the woman. During cross-examination, however, he conceded he had been cheating on his wife. "We were having an affair if that is how you want to describe it," he said. Kennedy has pleaded not guilty to two counts of unlawful striking causing grievous bodily harm, but pleaded guilty to unlawful assault. The trial, presided by Judge Tony Moynihan, is still underway, the Daily Mail reported.
