Big news, Japanese Monbebes: 'Monsta X' is gearing up for more Japanese music due for the first quarter of 2021. Here's all you need to know for their comeback.

MONSTA X will be dropping their ninth Japanese single, titled 'Wanted'. According to reports, the brand-new song will theme their impact in South Korea, Japan, and around the globe with lyrics that symbolize their appearance and charms. If we're taking hints of the concept from their teasers, the K-pop group will showcase their masculinity by wearing slick, smart, and fierce outfits for dramatic effect.

Concept

In two photos, members Shownu, Jooheon, Kihyun, Minhyuk, Hyungwon and I.M sport all-black outfits with leather jackets, and in the third teaser, the group stand against a sky-blue backdrop that measures their height and each wears a suit with an individual color. A press release also states that 'Wanted' promises "a profound sound that does not disappoint."

Furthermore, fans can look forward to another original Japanese song, titled 'Neo Universe'. The additional single pays heed to the hearts of fans when the coronavirus pandemic has made it difficult to meet directly, a song of comfort and personal attention with an "exhilarating" sound.

Release date

Both 'Wanted' and 'Neo Universe' is scheduled for a release on March 10, 2021. The songs follow after the 2020 Japanese single 'Wish on the Same Sky' and 2019's 'Alligator' and 'Shoot Out'. MONSTA X's latest Japanese studio album is 'Phenomenon', which released in 2019.
