Contains spoilers for 'Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area' Episode 3

If Episode 2 saw the heist team making some drastic decisions, then Episode 3 takes the tension to a whole new level. The second episode ended with Berlin taking control once again even if he broke the rule of killing a hostage. However, Yoon is still alive and it is revealed that Denver actually shot the bullet in her leg and wounded her so that Berlin can be assured that she is dead. Over the course of the episode, Denver and Tokyo try to keep her alive while transporting her to a secure location.

Berlin’s actions have stirred everything up and we can clearly see that Tokyo, Denver, and some of the other members of the group are not happy with what he did. While they think about what they need to do, a new problem arises because the police force is trying to know who is inside and they get a major victory when they get to identify one of the faces. Before destroying Cho’s smartwatch, Berlin threw the watch on the floor and as he did that, the camera captured Rio’s face and the police got to know about one of the members. They researched about him and got his info. Also, they got to know about Nairobi as well because they saw her and Rio while entering the bank a few days ago.

So, the group seems to be in some problems. However, it’s the internal matters that are hurting them the most. Berlin doesn’t believe Tokyo and when she was about to go and find a place somewhere else, she sent Oslo behind her. Denver knew something was not right and followed him. They both get into a fist fight and even though Denver is half of his size, he manages to beat him. On the other hand, Helsinki was about to find out about Yoon, but Tokyo comes at the right moment to save her.

Chaos ensues between the team and some people don’t want Berlin to be leading the group. Tokyo threatens him and says that he needs to step down and everyone just needs to follow the plan stitched by the Professor. However, Berlin feels that if they wouldn’t have killed the hostage, the other ones would have continued doing such annoying things and that’s why he set an example. Tokyo takes Denver and Nairobi on her side, but when she asks Rio to join in, Berlin reveals that Rio’s face has been captured by the police and he changes sides. Denver is really angry and gets in a quarrel with Rio. Meanwhile, Moscow arrives and hears that his son has killed a girl.

He is frustrated with his son because he didn’t want him to end up like his father. Moscow leaves the room and does the unthinkable by opening the main door of the bank. He goes out and wants to surrender, but Denver arrives and stops him. The group makes a plan to take a group of hostages, along with the members of the heist team outside and surround the duo. Denver and Tokyo confirm to Moscow that the girl is still alive and somewhere in the mint.

Cho, director of the mint, takes advantage of that situation and takes a real gun in his hand. He threatens everyone to stand down and when Nairobi sees that the police are also set to shoot them, she tells everyone to stand down and get on their knees. Seon gives the order to fire and a bullet pierces Cho’s right shoulder, making him fall to the ground.

When police believed that they had the upper hand, they actually don’t know that they have made things worse for them because as soon as they’ll get to know the real identity of the person who has been shot, they’ll be screwed.

Let’s see what happens.
