Qerim and Rose started dating sometime around 2016 when they first went public with their relationship. Two years later, in July 2018, the couple tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in New York City. They famously walked the MTV VMAs red carpet in August 2018 as newlyweds and also made several public appearances together. Things reportedly went downhill between the two after they appeared in a Gatorade commercial together. Amid speculations about their split, wild rumors have surfaced that Qerim cheated on Rose. However, there is no evidence to prove the allegations fielded by Rose's fans.

The duo is believed to be still on good terms with each other and the divorce is reportedly amicable. None of the parties are seeking alimony or spousal support despite having no known prenup. According to court documents accessed by TMZ, Rose filed divorce documents in April 2021. In the files, he mentioned that Qerim moving to Connecticut led to their eventual separation.
Meanwhile, Rose's fans have come up with the wildest theories behind their separation, including that Qerim cheated on Rose. "Maybe her and Stephen A got something going on. On thanksgiving day Stephen A was thankful for her and they have each other a big hug," a fan speculated. "When she hugged Stephen A it looked pretty intimate," a second fan chimed in.

Molly Qerim had previously hinted at their split when she removed 'Rose' as her last name on Instagram and Twitter recently. She also did not post couple photos with Rose for quite a long time, and vice versa. On social media and in public, they remained largely aloof from each other, fuelling divorce rumors which unfortunately turned out to be true. Despite the ongoing troubles in their marriage, Qerim showed support for Rose in June, when she opened up about his struggles with deaths in the family.
