One of Australia's most high-profile models, Annalise Braakensiek, was found dead in her apartment in Sydney, Australia, at the age of 46. Authorities were dispatched to her home in the inner-city suburb of Potts Point at around 3.30 pm on January 6. Some of her close friends and family members had started to get concerned about her when she did not respond to their text messages since January 3.
News.com.au reported that her untimely death came after a series of unusual Instagram posts were uploaded on her page detailing how her life had suddenly become "dark, difficult, demanding, and downright scary lately". In one of the posts on her page on December 15, Braakensiek wrote: "Everything seems to feel twisted and upside down at the moment."
