'Tragic case of a missing person'

Police, however, added that Nicola Bulley's disappearance is currently not being treated as suspicious but is a “tragic case of a missing person,” as per Independent. Although police believe she may have slipped into the river, a major search for Bulley continues, but no trace of her has been found as yet.

Her phone was connected to Teams meeting

Bulley, a mortgage adviser from Inskip, Lancashire, vanished while walking her dog after dropping off her daughters, aged six and nine, at their school. Officers were alerted about her disappearance when her spaniel, Willow, was found running loose off Garstang Road about 25 minutes after she was last seen by another dog walker as per BBC. Her phone, according to the police, was connected to a work Teams meeting at 09:20 that ended ten minutes later while it was on a bench.

Nicola Bulley's last appearance

Superintendent Sally Riley told a press conference that an “unprecedented” amount of police resources are being used in the search for Nicola Bulley but as of yet, the mortgage advisor from Lancashire has not been found. Police say also have an update on what she was last wearing, police have given a description of some clothes and items the public can look out for.

“They are an ankle-length black quilted gilet jacket, a black Engelbert Strauss waist-length coat which was worn underneath the gilet, tight-fitting black jeans, long green walking socks tucked into her jeans, ankle-length green Next wellies, a necklace and a pale blue Fitbit. It's really important that the public pay heed to those very specific clothing descriptions please, because factual sightings of those items would be very useful to us,” Sally said.

'It’s like a dream'

Paul Ansell, Nicola Bulley's partner, has issued a public statement for the first time since the mother-of-two vanished. “I can’t believe we’re a week on and of yet it seems we’re no further on, it seems absolutely impossible. It’s like a dream, I can’t get my head around it.” He added, “My whole focus is my two girls, just staying as strong as I can for them “I’m scared that if I put focus into anything else it’s going to take my focus off that. Just hoping to goodness that anything comes out from the interview yesterday no matter how tiny,” the station reported.
