'Birdman' actor Michael Keaton had a message for POTUS Donald Trump which he shared on social media. Keaton took to his social media handle on Wednesday, August 19, to ask Trump to 'resign' and said 'No harm. No foul. Walk Away. Would be Very Patriotic. and I would personally write a note thanking him.' His post on Instagram continued, "I swear I’m not being condescending. It’s just the truth."

He shared that the Trump presidency was a 'fluke' and 'a terrible mistake'. "It’s crystal clear it was a fluke and unfortunately a terrible mistake. There are moments when I honestly feel sorry for him. OK, maybe not MOMENTS but seconds. It’s reached the point where it just pathetic," Keaton added.

"Look, I’ve said this before. I’ll say it calmly again. I am (and I feel we all should be) over the screaming, ranting, etc over trump who is what many call the president," Keaton shared before saying that Trump is 'over his head'. "Doesn’t matter. He just can’t do it. He is so obviously unfit," he continued.

"He truly blew a chance. HE DOESN’T HAVE THE STUFF. The job is a tough one and he honestly thinks he can fake his way through it. It’s now or never folks. Democracy is honestly and literally in question. That’s not being dramatic. Just a fact," he revealed.

Many social media users supported Keaton's point of view and took to the comments section to back him up. One such user shared, "I agree. I'm a dem and I'm sick and tired seeing others treating this as a normal thing and allowing an election to go forward with this guy being from the republican side. And worse the republicans are going to re-nominate him next week. We should be protesting and calling for him to resign. I just don't get it."

Another user commented saying, "He’s never wanted this job. He has said so himself. It would be the honorable thing to do. But there’s the catch - he has no honor and he would rather raze the country than do any honorable act." Yet another shared, "Nailed it. But part of his problem is he is incapable of admitting failure. Never seen him do it. Instead, I fear he’ll fight it and try to shake the foundations of this democracy come November. It would help if more Republicans would speak the truth, snuff out his presidency and move on."

"Agree 100%. But he never will, he can't admit defeat, much less incompetence. He'll have to be dragged out of the White House by his wig," wrote another user who echoed the same sentiments.

Recently, Keaton also commented on the speech made by former first lady Michelle Obama at the DNC and said that it was "great". He took to Instagram to share, "Michelle O’s speech was great."

We had earlier reported that Obama had said, "Let me be as honest and clear as I possibly can. Donald Trump is the wrong president for our country. He has had more than enough time to prove that he can do the job, but he is clearly in over his head. He cannot meet this moment. He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us. It is what it is."
