'DWTS' Semifinals: Melora Hardin's unfair elimination has fans pissed at Cody Rigsby
This Sunday night was fun and danger-filled on 'Dancing With The Stars' as the contestants who after all their struggles made it to the semifinals. The semifinals also saw the nerve-wracking ordeal of a double elimination occur.
Office star Melora Hardin has been doing excellent so far on the show alongside partner Artem Chigvintsev with judges being all praise and lauding her consistent efforts. Janet Jackson Night left her with a high score of 42 after she bagged bonus points on top of achieving a perfect score. For the semifinals, she like the others had to perform 2 dances. The first round saw her do a redemption Rumba to 'I Don’t Want To Wait' by Paula Cole under the mentorship of Judge Len Goodman. Her fresh dance saw her perform a Contemporary to 'Thunder' by Imagine Dragons. Here's what went down and how fans reacted.

Hardin's redemption Rumba won her rave reviews with Judge Len bashfully saying tooty-fruity what a booty and calling it a terrific routine, scoring her a 10. Judge Carrie Ann said she had great technique but docked off a point as her feet came off once awarding her an 8. Judge Bruno said it was cheeky, romantic and that she got it just right. Judge Derek commented on how refreshing the dance was and acknowledged the difficulty of the performance. Both of them scored her a 9 each for a 36 out of 40
Her second dance of the night saw her performing to the song 'Thunder' which she co-related to the children's show which she starred in of the same name. The show also led to her lovely friendship and bond with her friend Hunter, who dropped in to cheer her on. The Contemporary was a great hit as well which saw all the judges award her a 9 for a total of 36 out of 40, which brought her score to 72. This placed her at the second to last score on the leader board above Cody Rigsby.
The night turned out to be unfortunate for the actress as she was the first to be eliminated in the double-elimination. A classic case of even if you have the scores and caliber, without fan votes, it can all be for naught. Hardin who has quite clearly been putting on better dances than Cody had fans calling out the flawed system as they took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
For all those who are going to miss her, you can look forward to Melora Hardin's documentary '“Thunder, Hunter & Me' which she has created along with her friend Hunter and deals with the story of women holding women up and what it really takes to get through trauma.
For now, read on to know what fans had to say.
