Melania says 'I don't give a f**k about Vogue' in new tape after Trump rants about her not getting cover offers

'Vogue said like oh, we want to do a profile. Profile? F you profile. I don't need profile,' Melania Trump was heard allegedly saying on the latest tape released by former aide, Stephanie Wolkoff

Just days after President Donald Trump took to Twitter to express his displeasure at the fact that his wife was never put on the cover of any magazine during her time at the White House, Stephanie Wolkoff, a former aide and friend to the FLOTUS, came forward with a taped conversation between her and Melania which clearly suggested that the First Lady did not care about being featured on the covers of fashion magazines.

During an interview with CNN's Don Lemon, Wolkoff revealed the exclusively recorded audio of a conversation that she had with her former boss in the Spring of 2018. "I am glad I, you know, when I, Vogue said like oh, we want to do a profile. Profile? F you profile. I don't need profile. Oh, they came back, they came back after like two months ago, they came back," Melania was heard saying on the tape.

"Oh they did?" asked Wolkoff, to which Melania replied, "Yeah, what I need another profile? It might be a cover, I'm like might be a cover? I don't need, I don't give a f**k about Vogue and any other magazine. I have, I have other stuff that they want to do or other magazine. I'm like for what? What will I do for?... Another photo shoot? Go and Getty Images and get the pictures and you will see me. Okay. Seriously?"

There was a lot of laughter from Wolkoff, followed by the question. "You're not the September cover?" Melania continued, saying, "Are you kidding me? No way... they would never do it. No way. All these people they are so mad. They are so... you know some people they say like, well, they're jealous they want to be you. They cannot believe, there are all these designers that they, you know they say, 'Oh, we will never dress her,' like it's almost like I need their help, you understand?"

She added: "I'm doing so much important, more important stuff. It's you know, that's why it's like do I care? I don't."

Former First Lady 56-year-old Michelle Obama, on the other hand, graced the covers of 12 magazines during her tenure. The 50-year-old Melania has not been seen on any covers while her husband Trump has been president. We previously reported that Trump took to Twitter to retweet a comment from right-wing publication Breitbart which slammed the "elitist snobs in the fashion press" with Trump saying Melania is "the greatest of all time".

During her CNN appearance, Wolkoff said: "I think the importance of sharing this audio was to share with everyone that it's really Donald who is more concerned that Melania is not on the covers of these magazines because Melania is very realistic and upfront about the fact that the fashion-entertainment industry was not supporting the Trumps from the very beginning and you know, for Donald, having Melania on the cover of Vogue originally legitimized Donald, made Melania a cover model and I think Donald now, more than ever, needs for something to make him feel that his brand is still worth what it was then."
