New York socialite and author Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, who released her book titled 'Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady' on September 1, 2020, has been a part of controversy since she started revealing 'Melania Tapes'. According to the latest embarrassingly candid conversation that was revealed, the first lady purportedly addressed the controversial Stormy Daniels as the "porn hooker".

According to a Daily Mail article, Wolkoff appeared on the latest episode of President Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen's podcast, 'Mea Culpa'. In one of the two clips Wolkoff released, Melania can be heard telling her ex-aide about Daniels getting a photoshoot in Vogue by acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz.

"If you Google, go Google and read it Annie Leibovitz shot the porn hooker, as she will be in one of the issues, September or October," Melania Trump can be heard saying in the tape. Wolkoff then asks the first lady, "What do you mean, she shot the 'porn hooker?' To which the first lady says, "Stormy. Oh you didn't read it. It was yesterday it came out. For Vogue. She will be in Vogue. Annie Leibowitz shot her." Leibovitz photographed Daniels and her then-attorney, Michael Avenatti, for an August 2018 story titled Stormy Daniels Isn’t Backing Down.

In January 2018, a news article involving President Donald Trump surfaced when The Wall Street Journal revealed that adult film actress, Daniels, received $130,000 for signing a non-disclosure agreement just before the 2016 United States presidential election about an affair she had with Trump in 2006. Daniels later signed a statement, which was witnessed by her lawyer and publicist, where she denied having an affair with Trump. Cohen, who was Trump's lawyer at the time pleaded guilty to eight criminal charges at that time, including a campaign finance violation for Daniels' payment in August 2018. He stated under oath that he paid her "in coordination with and at the direction of a candidate for federal office".

Wolkoff left the White House amid investigations of fundraising for the inauguration. In February 2018, The New York Times reported that from $107M raised, a company started by Wolkoff received nearly $26M. Wolkoff reportedly banked $500,000. It was also reported that a government watchdog accused the inaugural committee of “fiscal mismanagement at its worst”.

As soon as the latest statement from the Melania Tapes came to light, people started reacting to it, as one Internet user wrote, "She’s not wrong. Stormy does porn and Melania’s husband paid Stormy for sex, sooo...." and some said that Melania is jealous. One wrote, "Melania Trump calls Stormy Daniels 'porn hooker' in secret tapes, appears jealous of her 2018 Vogue cover. Do I sense jealousy?" Another wrote, "Irony is Melania Trump calling Stormy Daniels a 'porn hooker'.”

While some slammed Melania and Trump and wrote, "Melania’s comments are quite sadly amusing. Notice how she attacks Stormy but never holds Trump responsible for anything. Oh wait - magic words - PRE NUP!!! #Melania calls Stormy Daniels a 'porn HOOKER' in explosive new tapes," and another wrote, "A porn hooker who Melania husband paid for sex. She need to check her husband instead of the porn star."

While some joked and said, "Melania actually called Stormy Daniels a 'porn hooker' Ain’t that like the pot calling the kettle black?? Melania Trump discusses Stormy Daniels in secretly recorded tapes." Another said, "Just when I thought I couldn't love her anymore.... Melania Trump calls Stormy Daniels a 'porn hooker' in new tapes."
