Melania Trump stuns in military-inspired jacket and skirt for RNC speech, praised for her 'flawless outfits'
First Lady Melania Trump had made a speech at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday, August 25 at the White House.
Melania garnered a lot of attention not just for her speech from the White House Rose Garden but for the stunning outfit that she had been wearing. Melania, 50, was seen sporting a military-inspired outfit that featured a deep green colored blazer as well as a matching skirt. The jacket had been designed by Alexander McQueen and really got people on social media talking. As per a fan page on Twitter, Melania had matched her skirt and jacket to a pair of Christian Louboutins. She chose to leave her hair loose to fall over her shoulders.
CNN's Kate Bennett shared that it seemed that the McQueen jacket had also been worn by the likes of models such as Kaia Gerber. Hunter Schwartz from Yellow Line revealed that the jacket sells for around $2,450 though it is currently on sale at Far Fetched for 40% off. Melania's choice of wardrobe received much praise from social media users though there were some who did not approve of the look. Praising Melania's dressing sense, a user shared, "@FLOTUS is the most beautiful woman inside and out! Her outfits are always flawless! Perfection."

Among those who disliked the outfit, there were comments like: "Hey guys? Is Melania’s outfit throwing off a strong third reich vibe or am I imagining things? #RNC" and another who said "Just saw Melania Trump from her appearance at the RNC from the “RUINED Rose Garden”. I see Trump is going forward with his plans. He had Melania dress in her best “Dictator Wife” outfit."

Melania had given her speech from the renovated Rose Garden. We had earlier reported that Melania had given the speech before a small audience along with Donald Trump's daughter Tiffany Trump and son Eric Trump. During her speech, the First Lady said she admired her husband’s approach in being straightforward to the public. "Whether you like it or not, you always know what he’s thinking," she said.
Melania had said, "Donald, is a husband who supports me in all that I do. He has built an administration with an unprecedented number of women in leadership roles and has fostered an environment where the American people are always the priority. He welcomes different points of view and encourages thinking outside of the box. I know I speak for my husband and the family when I say we are so grateful that you have trusted him to be your president. And we will be honored to serve the incredible country for four more years."
Tiffany also spoke at the RNC and dubbed her father as the man best equipped to get back on track despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Tiffany said, "Like so many students across the world, I graduated from law school during the pandemic. As a recent graduate, I can relate to so many of you who might be looking for a job. My father built a thriving economy once, and believe me, he will do it again."
