Melania spends time at spa and dining with Trump on Mar-a-Lago patio amid reports she's jealous of Jill Biden
After leaving Washington, D.C., Melania Trump reportedly spends most of her time relaxing at the spa and staying out of the political fray, as her husband, former President Donald J. Trump awaits the outcome of his second impeachment trial. Sources familiar with Melania's "interest level" allegedly told CNN that the former first lady has mentally left Washington behind, although she has been checking in on the trial.
Several anonymous sources spoke to CNN about Trump's life post-presidency, claiming that her daily schedule has barely anything to do with politics, trials, Congress, or censored social media accounts. "She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again), and has dinner with Donald on the patio," said one insider familiar with Melania Trump's schedule at Mar-a-Lago, her new abode in Palm Beach, Florida. "Rinse and repeat. Every day."

Meanwhile, another source claimed Trump frequents the private club's spa facilities. According to the insider, it is not unusual for the former supermodel to spend several hours a day enjoying the spa benefits at her disposal. She purportedly visits the facilities twice a day for massages, manicures, pedicures, facial treatments, and several other services on the menu. "She almost always does dinner," according to a third source who claims to have observed Trump outside of the spa. The former first lady reportedly spends her evenings on the outdoor patio of Mar-a-Lago and often orders fish for an entrée. The source further claimed she is often joined at the table by her parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, who reside in their private quarters at Mar-a-Lago for most of the year.
Melania's daily routine has not seen a significant change since her time as the first lady of the United States, per CNN. "It's pretty much the same as it was before (she was first lady) or even when she would come down during vacations," one source familiar with Trump's schedule stated. The former first lady is reportedly setting up her own office at the club and has hired three former employees from her White House staff in a bid to resume her 'Be Best' campaign, which helps underprivileged children. That said, the report claims there have been moments of "bitterness and regret" for Melania, citing sources familiar with her recent conversations, particularly with respect to the activities of her successor, Jill Biden.
Biden, within weeks of becoming First Lady, landed an interview with People magazine, posing for the cover with her husband, President Joe Biden. She was also featured in Parents magazine, where she discussed the plight of families dealing with homeschooling their children amid the ongoing health crisis. Most recently, the Bidens also appeared in a pre-recorded televised message that aired prior to last Sunday's Super Bowl matchup. According to CNN, Trump has recently been telling acquaintances that she could have undertaken more media opportunities and policy events if her staff had been "more accommodating to her needs."
"That seems unfair, but typical to blame everyone else," one source "familiar with Trump's thinking" during her White House years told CNN. "Everyone knows Melania Trump does what she wants when she wants, and not one staffer on her team could have done anything to change that."
