Megan Thee Stallion was an interview guest for the very first time on 'The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon'. The rapper has performed on the late-night talk show in the past and is close friends with the Fallons. Megan joined in on the show from Los Angeles where she's working on a new album.

Jimmy asked her about her creative process, to which she said that she mostly plays a beat and freestyles. However, there are times when she goes back and listens to the song and thinks that she could've made it more "cooler" or written it in a better fashion and hence she considers it better to write it all down. She added that she kicks everyone out of the room when she is writing because she tends to be noisy while thinking of a track and doesn't really want anyone listening to the process.

Fallon also shared a personal experience from a cameo he did on an album once. He was in a recording booth where people were looking at him through the glass and this gave him anxiety to a point where he was sweating bullets. He was embarrassed and had to ask everyone to leave the room so that he could work.

They also spoke about Megan's hit song 'Savage' being a rage on TikTok. Megan said that while a lot of celebrities on the portal have also taken the Savage challenge, for instance, Courtney Cox and Jessica Alba, she was the most excited to see Janet Jackson jump on the bandwagon. Jackson uploaded a fan-made video with screengrabs from her various music videos that were meshed together with Savage as background music. The songstress uploaded the video to her TikTok and also tagged Megan on it. To this, Megan's response was: "Janet Jackson knows me?" She also reposted Jackson's video on her Instagram and the latter followed her back on the platform. To this, Megan tweeted: "Yallll I am mf screaming Janet Jackson posted her #savagechallenge I love you @janetjackson."

Apart from pursuing her musical career, the rapper is also pursuing a degree in healthcare administration. This is her second outing in college.

The first time was when she took her grandmother's suggestion and went to nursing school, but once she started classes, she realized that this was not something she wanted to do. She said that while everyone in her class would answer questions, she would think to herself: "Oh my God, I hate this."

She said she wanted to find something she's passionate about and when she saw her grandmother taking care of her great grandmother, this is when she realized that the two ladies could use some help. She aims at opening an assistive living facility where people take care of each other. The best part about this project is that Megan has decided to hire her fellow classmates because no one wants to hire freshers straight out of college due to lack of experience. "I want to give my classmates their jobs... People don't want to give you jobs because you don't have experience. But if you don't give me the job, then how am I going to get the experience?" she said.

People who were tuned in on the show discovered newfound respect for the rapper after watching the interview. One viewer wrote, "YASSS SHE SAID HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION OOOOUUHHHH SHE MY IDOL FOR SURE."

"Meg is so down to earth and real and beautiful and I love my queen!" wrote another. "Love that she’s in college even with her career. Super dope," wrote another commending the rapper's choice to manage college along with a flourishing career.

"Super cool how she wants to give her classmates jobs wow so cool," wrote another impressed viewer.
