MCU Phase 4: From Norn Stones to Mandarin's Ten Rings, here are 5 weapons we want to see in the movies

Cap's Shield, Thor's Hammer and axe, Loki's scepter and Stark's suits were pivotal in the MCU phases 1 to 3, but it's time to see more powerful weapons make their way

Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) suits (although he cheekily dubs it as a high-tech prosthesis), Cap's shield, Thor's Mjolnir and Stormbreaker, Loki's scepter, Doctor Strange's Eye of Agamotto, and finally, the Infinity gauntlet. These were just some of the weapons the MCU introduced in phases 1 to 3 and each of them has played pretty significant roles in all of their appearances. With Phase 4 looming large, we take a look at five never-seen-before weapons that should be showcased in the upcoming movies.

The Norn Stones

The Norn Stones may make an entry in 'Loki' or 'Thor: Love and Thunder' (Marvel)

We have had Infinity Stones, and now it's time we may see the Asgard-associated mystical Norn stones. Created by Karnilla, a powerful sorceress, aka Asgard's Mistress of Magic, the stones grants the abilities to what the Infinity stones did, except that these tap into pure magic to do so. The stones were already introduced in the TV series, 'The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes'.

Given the connection, the stones have to Asgard, Loki, and Thor, we may probably have fleeting references or an actual introduction to the Norn stones in the upcoming Disney + series, 'Loki' or 'Thor: Love and Thunder'

Mandarin's Ten Rings

We saw a fake Mandarin in 'Iron Man 3' with Ben Kingsley playing the part to perfection. In Phase 4's 'Shang- Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings', we're pretty sure, in addition to the real Mandarin, we'll get to see the Ten Rings in action as well.  Found in a Makluan alien spacecraft, each of the rings represent a different facet of power. Some of their abilities include telekinesis, shooting out vortex beams, lasers, ice and fire blasters.

Does look like Shang-Chi will have a fight on his hands.

All-Black the Necro Sword

Knull and the Necro Sword (Marvel)

Created by Knull, the first symbiote in the Universe, the Necro Sword-All Black was created out of his own body and is also known as the God Slayer. The weapon was shown in a Thor comic to try and kill the God of Thunder. With the multiverse concept teased in 'Spider-Man: Far From Home' and with 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness', we may probably see the Necro Sword make an appearance at some stage in Phase 4.

Kang the Conqueror's Time Travelling Chair

With enough rumors and theories milling around that the Fantastic Four will make an appearance in Phase 4, we thought to add Kang's Time Travelling Chair to the list. Besides, there has been enough timeline tampering done already in 'Avengers: Endgame', and the imperial rules usually shows up when the timeline goes wonky, so as to deal with whoever caused it. We're still unsure how he fits into Phase 4 at this stage, but it would be a weapon to watch for.

Quasar's Quantum Bands

Quantum Bands used by Quasar (Marvel)

The Quantum Bands were created by Eon, a cosmic entity responsible for maintaining a favorable condition for life in the Universe. These bands are popularly used by Quasar aka Wendell Vaughn. The Bands powers include Flight, Massive Energy Manipulation, Energy constructs, teleportation and portal generation, and mental protection from psychic attacks. It also has a Mjolnir condition— only a ‘worthy’ person can wield the Quantum Bands.
