The Masonic Temple in Ohio’s city of Zanesville reportedly caught fire late Thursday night, January 6. The historic building is home to several art studios. It’s not known yet how the tallest building in the city caught fire and if there is any injury or fatality.
According to the Zanesville Times Recorder, officials from the fire department were at the scene located from 36-42 N. Fourth Street in downtown Zanesville. The fire also resulted in the safe evacuation of prisoners and staff members from Muskingum County Jail and Courthouse, which is near the building, Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz said.
