'Move on!' Marjorie Taylor Greene's 'desperate' bid to reintroduce censure resolution against Rashida Tlaib backfires
WASHINGTON, DC: The House recently rejected the effort to censure Rashida Tlaib, a motion that was introduced by Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, as per Al Jazeera.
Greene took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her frustration with the same, but has now announced that she will be reintroducing the censure resolution against democrat Tlaib, with a few changes.
Greene will be replacing “insurrection” with “illegal occupation” instead. The Republican congresswoman has expressed that she hopes her fellow Republicans will help censure Tlaib.
However, as Greene spoke about the reintroduction of the censure resolution, she was met with mockery on the social media platform.

On X, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene shared details of her reintroducing the censure resolution against Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Greene wrote, “I’m reintroducing my censure resolution against Terrorist Tlaib. I am removing “insurrection” and replacing it with “illegal occupation” on Oct 18th that broke the same federal laws as Jan 6 and led to hundreds of arrests and assault on Cap Police.”

She added, “Hopefully the 23 Republicans who voted no to censure Pro-terrorists Pro-Hamas Anti-Israel anti-Semitic Rashida Tlaib will use their freedom of speech in congress to censure (condemn) Terrorist Tlaib’s speech, lies, and actions that incited an illegal occupation on Oct 18th.”
