WASHINGTON, DC: On Wednesday, The House late rejected an effort to censure Democratic Rep Rashida Tlaib, scrapping a Republican attempt to condemn the only Palestinian-American in Congress, reported AP News.

A measure to move forward with a censure resolution of Tlaib, which the Republican rep Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced, was dismissed with broad bipartisan support as both parties raised concerns about violating First Amendment rights, also stated the report.

Following this dismissal, Congresswoman Greene took over X, formerly known as Twitter, to express her frustration over the same as she revealed the name of Republicans who voted against the censure resolution.

Marjorie Taylor Greene lashes out on X

On X, following the vote, Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote, “List of feckless Republicans that voted WITH Democrats to table my censure resolution against Rashida Tlaib. This is why Republicans NEVER do anything to stop the communists Democrats or ever hold anyone accountable!!”

“PATHETIC,” said Greene.

She also added, “Here is the list of Republicans that did not vote.”

Greene continued to share the aforementioned lists and claimed it must be “great to be Democrat,” as she continued to express her frustration, “Must be great to be a Democrat. They all stick together to destroy our country and cover up each other's lies and stand unified to protect Tlaib - Hamas Caucus. But Republicans just join Democrats and vote to destroy our country and our party.”

Greene also added, “Some of the “conservatives” on this list are claiming they couldn’t vote to censure Tlaib bc my resolution called Oct 18th an insurrection. These same “conservatives” have never lifted a finger to help Jan6 defendants. They could care less that they are rotting in jail.”

Internet mocks Marjorie Taylor Greene

Following the dismissal to move forward with a censure resolution against Rashida Tlaib, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene faced severe mockery on social media.

One wrote, “Girl, your L column is getting huge. Lolololol,” and another said, “This very much seems like a “you” problem, Marge.”

“Lol you failed – again,” mocked one user, and another wrote, “Yesss! Some Republicans grew a spine here!”
