Twice in a lifetime: Marie Osmond posts rare picture with husband Steve Craig on his 65th birthday
UTAH: It is very rare to see Marie Osmond, 62, share a picture of her husband Steve Craig, which she most recently did on Instagram after planning a birthday week for her better half who turned 65. The couple was taking a week off at a mountain resort somewhere in Utah. The pictures showed lush green trees and blue skies.
She chose this destination so that her husband could enjoy the fresh aromas of nature on his mountain bike and rejuvenate at the retreat. Osmond mentioned in her post that one of the verses from the Bible, namely Ecclesiastes 4:9, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor,“ which prompted her to pick up her phone and surprise her husband with this trip.

“This week I surprised my husband with a couple of days at a mountain resort for his birthday! It was wonderful to watch him get excited to ride his mountain bike over all the incredible trails while testing his physical prowess with some very challenging terrain. I, on the other hand, was excited to drive the car over hills to the outlet mall, testing MY physical prowess with some challenging shopping terrain!” her post read.
"All kidding aside, I love being in the mountains. The “music” I hear as the wind blows through the trees has always brought such peace to my soul. Johann Sebastian Bach once said, 'I only write the notes. God makes the music.' Nothing could be more true to me… music is everywhere! It’s one of the reasons I wanted to train myself to sing so many different genres…I enjoy exploring the inside depths and outside pinnacles of every type of music. These are my musical mountain trails!" the post further reads
The couple first married in 1982 before getting a divorce in 1985. Osmond was married to Brian Blosil from 1986 to 2007. She had two children and adopted five more children during her time with him. In 1996, Osmond was under severe postpartum depression which peaked in 2006 due to an adverse reaction to the medication she was taking. She remarried Craig in 2011, donning the same wedding dress she wore during her first wedding ceremony in 1982.
