Marcelino Olguin: Foster dad for five Turpin siblings accused of molestation, abuse
PERRIS, CALIFORNIA; After finally being rescued from the Turpin 'house of horrors', the siblings may have thought their ordeals were finally over. However, a shocking revelation on March 31, 2022, reveals that was far from the case for two of the children, placed in the care of Marcelino Olguin and Rosa of Perris, California. According to a shocking new report, Olguin molested the two children over 50 times and has since been arrested and slapped with charges.
As we have covered before, life has not been easy for the Turpin children. The eldest child, Jordan has since gone on to become something of a TikTok celebrity. She's used her fame to advocate for her younger siblings, many of whom are still in foster care. Even then, they are far from getting the care and love they deserve. In November 2021, it was revealed that child services failed to ensure the children had a safe place to say, or even food to eat, and were forced to couch surf.

'House of horrors' children say they "love their parents" and have "forgiven them" despite the abuse
In total, 13 siblings were rescued from the home of David and Louise Turpin. Of that, five were placed in the care of the Olguins. Marcelino is accused of subjecting them to abuse and even molestation, while his wife Rosa and daughter Lennys are accused of aiding and abetting the abuse. All three were arrested in March 2021, finally ending the ordeal for the siblings. The news is the latest scandal to hit the Riverside County Children's Services Division.
Abuse continues for Turpin children
The Daily Mail broke the story of the abuse, based on court documents filed against Marcelino and Rosa. The two live just minutes from the Turpin's home and were given charge of five Turpin siblings in April 2018, along with the four other children already in their care. Tragically, just siblings continued to be subjected to abuse, as discovered by investigator Thomas Salisbury.
Marcelino told two of the Turpin siblings, including one who was under 14 "they were sexy, recommended they not wear undershirts, said they had beautiful skin." He also allegedly "forcibly kissed them and pulled a minor on top of him." Furthermore, Marcelino is accused of "'sexual touching' on their buttocks and upper thighs more than 50 times." The siblings were also forced to participate in "confession circle talk", where they were made to recount the abuse they were forced to carry out on their siblings.
One of the male children was "singled out for extra abuse" and reportedly demeaned, cussed at, and separated from his sisters. All five were also threatened with never seeing their older siblings again. It wasn't just the Turpin children though, it appears the Olguins abused other children in their care. One five-year-old was reportedly given sleeping pills then forced to stay up until she collapsed. The girl was also locked in her room, beaten with sandals, choked, and even once thrown down several steps. Two others were encouraged to fight each other while being called a "filthy a-----e" and a "m----------r".
Shockingly, the couple were certified foster parents, but are now facing severe consequences for their actions. They were first arrested in March 2021 before being released on bail. Marcelino has been charged with seven counts of committing a lewd and lascivious act on a child and six of torture. Rosa and Lennys have both slapped hit with multiple child abuse charges, one of witness intimidation and another of fraud.
Marcelino is facing a life sentence if convicted. It is unclear where the children in their care have been moved to. It is also unclear if the Olguins will be a part of the independent investigation launched by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.
