'Manifest' Season 2: Could Zeke's hidden stash of pills give us a clue about his death date prediction?

Like the 828 passengers, Zeke went missing, albeit on a different occasion and location. However, he was only missing for a few months, so it can be safe to assume that he has only a few months left to live

In last week's episode of 'Manifest', Zeke Landon's "wife" Courtney came to town to disrupt Michaela Stone and Zeke's new relationship. After a few episodes of teasing a relationship between Zeke and Michaela, Courtney's presence would have surely upset fans.

In this week's episode, we learned that Courtney and Zeke's marriage was not as serious as we thought. It turns out that Zeke and Courtney got married while they were high — they have been broken up for some time and since they were high, they never made it official.

However, Zeke has been working through his 12 steps, and one of the steps prompts him to show up for Courtney's Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings, much to Michaela's disappointment.

She is dutiful, however, and even offers Zeke help to get a drug dealer off of a recovering Courtney's back. Michaela is perpetually worried about Zeke relapsing and Courtney being around only made these worries worse.

By the end of the episode, Courtney bailed again but this time, she let Zeke know that she was going to the sober house. The question is whether Courtney leaving would mean Michaela can stop worrying.

Unfortunately, when Michaela noticed a rattling coming from Zeke's razor and opened it, she found a hidden stash of pills. These could have been hidden by Zeke himself but it may also be a trap by Courtney.

Whatever the case, Michaela is certain to be on high alert now with her trust on Zeke to be at an all-time low. Of course, Zeke may very well relapse, especially after Courtney coming and going so quickly.

This brings us to Zeke's death date prediction. Like the 828 passengers, Zeke went missing, albeit on a different occasion and location. However, he was only missing for a few months.

The 828 passengers' death date is foreseen to be five and a half years into the future — the exact period for which they were missing. Going by this, Zeke's death date is only a few months away.

The question, of course, is if it would be the drugs that lead to Zeke's death — that is unless Ben and Saanvi can find a cure for the genetic anomaly that comes from their shared mystery.

Should Zeke relapse, it seems very likely that his addiction might be the cause for his probable passing. However, does that make his death day part of the mysterious genetic anomaly or something he was responsible for?

'Manifest' airs on Monday nights on NBC at 10/9c.
