Manchester United were beaten 1-0 at Old Trafford by Aston Villa on Saturday, September 25, leaving fans disheartened and shocked. Man United were in better form in the first half of the game but faltered in the second half and Kortney Hause scored the sole goal at the 88th minute to seal Aston Villa's victory over the hosts. Christiano Ronaldo failed to make the net as well, and the team fell flat amidst heightened expectations. Angered fans have taken to Twitter and much of the anger is directed at coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Man United fans endured a similar loss in October 2020 after the team lost to Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. They scored a penalty score in the 29th second of the game but for the rest of the game the Spurs continued to dominate and United's performance was under the scanner. A huge part of the blame was attributed to coach Ole Solskjaer. "Not players problem, this is manager fault, he deployed the worst players and stupid tactics," read one of the tweets on social media.

Manchester United: Five managers who could replace Ole Gunnar Solksjaer if he's sacked

Manchester United fans trend #OleOut on Twitter

Manchester United has lost three out of the last four games they played. They are out of the Carabao Club and have lost the opening game in the Champions league. Fans are demanding that Solskjaer be sacked from the manager's position and 'Sack Ole' and the hashtag #OleOut is trending heavily on Twitter. Fans are also predicting that Bruno Fernandez intentionally missed the penalty goal so that Ole could finally be sacked. "Bruno Fernandes intentionally missed the Penalty so they sack Ole..it’s planned," a fan tweeted. "United board need to pull the trigger and sack Ole! This is not good enough it’s really not!!" another fan tweeted.

"Ole Out #OleOut No tactics from him at all I can’t see him winning a trophy for us. Antonio Conte is available sack Ole and bring a proper trophy winning manager in #ManchesterUnited" wrote another user. "Sack Ole Gunner Solkjaer, bring back the glory days to Old Trafford. Ole never respected The Slaughter House #OleOut" another tweet read. "If United don’t sack Ole, Ole will continue to disgrace United. So simple to see since 19 gbogboro. That you are just switching now is the only surprise. He’s simply not good enough for that level. Chelsea’s way of handling coaches/managers over the years is a good example," another tweet read.
