ALWAR, INDIA: In a horrifying freak accident, a man who was urinating on a train track was fatally struck by a flying cow that was rammed by an express train, launching the beast 100 feet into the air. The victim was identified as Shivdayal Sharma, 82, and the incident occurred in Alwar, India, after the mammal wandered off onto a nearby train track.
The eye-popping tragedy was witnessed by another person who was standing nearby and nearly escaped being hit by the flying cow. The 82-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene after the train was believed to be traveling at a speed of 100mph, rocketing the cow onto him, as per The Sun. The incident has caused an uproar, prompting better regulation on the train route, which ranks among scores of similar accidents with cows on the train tracks in the region.

Railway Minister of the state, Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that measures such as garbage and vegetation removal had begun to cull the projectile animals. One of the railway lines has even taken the measure of erecting metal fences along the train tracks to prevent wandering cows. In another harrowing plight, a farmer narrowly escaped being trampled by a rampaging cow, which was captured on video.
Farmer Dani Blair was attacked by a herd of cows in a calving pen before her husband, Matthew, bravely intervened and saved her life. One of the cows headbutted Dani into the wall, and when she attempts to regain consciousness and tries to control the situation, she is again struck by the beast, throwing her in the air and landing on the floor of a barn. Her husband witnesses the tragedy and jumps to her rescue and enters the ring, which is when the cow bucks her head once again before eventually claiming her down while Dani manages to crawl out of the gate.
A herd of 'crazy' cows tramples a woman to death
In a similar tragedy, a herd of 'crazy' cows allegedly trampled a 55-year-old woman in a peaceful village in West Sussex. The woman was found by local residents "covered in blood," who rushed to her aid. The incident occurred at around 11.40 am on Monday, August 22, 2022, when she was ambushed and trampled by nearly 30 rampaging cattle while walking her dog. Emergency medical services arrived on the scene soon after, including the police, paramedics, and an air ambulance. Rescue efforts by the residents and paramedics lasted for over an hour as they performed CPR to save her, but the woman died of her injuries.
