Who is Kendall Floyd? Chilling video shows man leaping from subway track to roof to evade NYPD
QUEENS, NEW YORK CITY: Kendall Floyd, a 25-year-old resident of Queens brought the character of Spiderman to life as he made a bold and dangerous leap from an elevated subway platform to a neighboring store roof as he tried to flee from cops. This incident took place after he was initially pulled over for driving without a seatbelt at the intersection in Brooklyn, shortly after 4 pm on Wednesday, July 6. Floyd, however, had evil intentions in his mind. The rapid escalation of the situation took place when he struck his vehicle door open, wounded an officer in the arm, and fled the scene, reports New York Post.
The cops cornered him at an intersection about three blocks away but he refused to surrender and instead scaled the support beam of a raised subway platform and onto the elevated tracks. The onlookers who were terrified by the entire situation and the cops begged him to climb down but he decided to take a death-defying leap from the tracks to a roof. Floyd sustained a leg injury and was transported to Woodhull Medical Center. The severity of the injury is not known.

The 25-year-old was arrested and charged with assault on a police officer, reckless endangerment, official misconduct, false personation, two counts of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and a seatbelt violation, according to police. "Don't do it, man! It's not worth it!" a man recording the incident can be heard saying. After he landed on the roof of the building, the recorded video shows that several cops took off running around the corner towards a chain-link fence blocking off the area behind the building where Floyd landed. One of the cops scales the fence while the others stay back, the clip shows. Another cop is shown pulling what appears to be a wooden frame from a pile on the ground and propping it up against the fence before the clip cuts out.
